I agree with you 100%. No one person should have to live with pain and suffering, especially if they are on machines. Look at Terri Schaivo, what a sad sad thing.

I have seen so much suffering, if my loved one was suffering and could tell me how they felt, I would consider assisted suicide, but, what hope there would be another word for it.
I would want to be unplugged, I think leaving it that way is just for the sake of the mourner, not the person in the bed.
I have to add though, that alot of people in coma's come out of it after years and years.
So much to say on this subject...........

properly my view on assisted suicide is in case you pick to devote suicide because your existence stinks properly i imagine you pick to take a go searching because so does distinctive individuals's lives yet they're making it yet another day. yet assisted suicide doesn't quite make experience to me as to why you may desire someone which could help you for i imagine you should do it your self.(no longer putting forward it is top to kill your self) the fellow who assisted will finally end up stepping right into a lot difficulty. together in the journey that they are keen which could help you devote suicide they actual couldn't be an truly good chum for i think that they should be helping you get by potential of your not basic circumstances. i understand mine have. also they have software that could help you.

In my view pulling the plug is different than assisted suicide. In assisted suicide the person is given an overdose of medication to kill themselves with.In 'pulling the plug' all machines used to keep the patient alive(i.e:feeding tube, ventilator, etc)are just turned off.The latter should definitely be the choice of the patient and family members.

I think that assisted suicide should be legalized but with a lot of restrictions. With the time it will become socially acceptable and than it can be expanded to a broader term.

If someone wants to die .....its that persons human right. I think that if someone is hooked up to a machine and has no chance of getting better then someone should be gracious enough to pull the plug. I think god would forgive you (if you believe in God)....He is supposed to be forgiving.

It's not about being a burden, it,s about the pain and suffering. When you have a loved one with tubes running all over them& their arms tied so they can't pull them out, their body rotted.88 years old and telling you they want to leave this world,i say let Jack K. out and give him a metal

i think God will be very understanding when it comes to these circumstances. it's just those who believe in Him have a hard time with it because they simply do not have the compassion and kindness that God possesses. They always go by the book.

I think assisted suicide should be a legal option for those who want it.
