Essentially all vegetables are healthy, some more healthy than others. Potatoes and corn are both starchy vegetables. You will find that starchy vegetables are higher in calories. Green leafy vegetables are more healthy, and are full of vitamin K. Also, preparation is key. Boiled, broiled, baked, or grilled...over fried veggies make a big difference in both calories, vitamins, etc.

Being a vegetable, yes, corn is healthy. However, corn has a glycemic index of 56, this means it has an intermediate GI level. The glycemic index refers to the level of carbs in a food. The healthiest choice would be to choose a veggie with a GI of 0-55 (low GI level). There are other vegetables that are healthier. Anything green is the healthiest vegetable.

Not really. Corn is a starch and starchy foods are fattening. It has little nutritional value because it is not fully digestable. It is a good source of fiber though, if you are "bound up". It is one of the least nutritional vegetables there is. But it sure is good smothered in butter, ain't it?

i'd say all of it sounds good. except for the soy sauce and sesame oil. Soy will enhance the estrogen hormone interior the human body. It has a worse outcome on adult males then women.adult males start up to enhance guy boobs, decreased fertility and different emasculating consequences .even if in both it does prompt you for fat storage. Sesame oil in short is inflamatory purely in a tender sense yet that would also reason fat storage. For stir frying i take advantage of Ghee,Butter, writer 1st baron verulam drippings. There extra filling then vegetable oils.

Yes, it is a healthy veggie. It is considered a carb, but don't let that scare you into not eating it, it's yummy and good for you. Carbs give us energy, and our diets should be 50-60% carbs, if we go below this level we feel really tired. Go for it!

Corn doesn't have fat, chloleterol, or many calories. It does have alot more sugar than other veggies. But it's still full of fiber and it's good for you yes.
