I appreciate everyone is different, but if you have been on the pill for about 10 years, realistically how long would it take to get out of your system. I dont believe all this stuff about miss 1 pill and its all over!

It usually takes about 2 to 3 months for your body to readjust itself, off the pill.

I think the only way you are going to find out is by doing it yourself, as you say everyone is different, I stopped taking the pill after many years planning that it would take a few months to get out of my system time to prepare for my second and bang I fell straight away, I think my man just looked at me and I fell. lol .
However my sister in law has not been using anything for quite some time now and still hasn't fallen pregnant?? But this could be down to her life style, boozing and drugs at the weekends, so I am glad she has not fallen yet, I would much rather her body reject it until she has grown up to understand that she needs to calm her weekends down before considering bringing a new life into this world.
Any way I wish you all the luck as creating new life is the best thing you will ever experience.

i become on the pill from even as i become 13 till june this year making me 23... i fell pregnant on the full of july... so i wager it relies upon on the body my wellbeing care professional advised me it would want to take 6 months - a million year to leave my equipment, yet my body flushed it out alot swifter a lot to my happiness that the first time i tried to get pregnant it artwork after a million month :)

You can get pregnant a couple of days later. The contraceptive property doesn't last long, but it takes a few months, as said above, for your hormones to adjust back to normal.

I was on the pill for 14 years, came off it, ovulated two weeks later and got pregnant.
I think its different with everyone.
