I'm a little concerned. Much more tired and unmotivated than usual, just as I seem to be coming around (up) from a chaotic few weeks (break-up) and year (recovering from cancer surgery)...I thought I was at a point I'd consider healed, my body's almost back, I'm winning races, looking to pursue some goals...I am ready to "go for it", to leap into my future...and suddenly I'm exhausted, quiet, reserved and hermit-like! ( I'm a high energy, expressive, social creature usually, even when I was going thru Hell ) Why so TIRED now? I should be flying!

My doc prescribed Lamictal for my bipolar disorder. My symptoms interfere with my life on a daily basis and exercise, vitamins, less strong medications, 12 step groups and therapy have helped but have not gotten rid of suicidal urges, lack of interest in things I used to care about, lack of motivation, exhaustion, and other symptoms.
Is the treatment worse than the cure?

I was told if I had one more drink of alcohol I would die. I already have COPD and can't smoke. They also put me on a low fat diet.
Can anyone relate to this?

I have had one corticosteroid injection which only relieved pain for about 4 weeks. I'm starting a new job, after being unemployed for 6 months and cannot afford to take time off for the surgery of a hip replacement. Please share your results with me. Thank you.

Many dentist offices that I have visited has had A LOT of different " correct" ways to brush your teeth. I just would like to know if the correct way is up, and down, left, and right, or if there is any other " correct" way to brush your teeth. I also spend about 15 min. brushing mine. Is that good, or bad?

Should I ask my dentist to repair my dental work with no fee. He put fillings in 10 of my teeth less than a year ago and they've all fallen out since then. This was a horrible, painful experience and I hate that I have to go through this again so soon. How long are fillings supposed to last? I know people who have them for years. Was his work faulty???

The c-section was 2 years ago. Healed fine. The laparotomy was done as an emergency to remove an ectopic pregnancy- the Dr. wound up having to take a fallopian tube and an ovary because it ruptured. Physically, I feel fine, but what's up with the incision? It's got a horrible smell, but it's been this way all along- it's from the drainage. I don't think it's infection. I know I've seen the Dr at least 4 times and been concerned every time (it's infected, the stiches have ruptured, etc.). But he always says "it's fine- just put powder on it". So I have been putting powder, and then all it does is get all pasty. I started swimming a couple of weeks ago, with my Dr's permission, in my own swimming pool. At first, I thought that might get it all cleaned out with the chlorine, but now I think maybe it's delaying the healing even more. After 6 weeks, should this cut still be open, red, puffy, and oozing? Why does my Dr. say it's ok? I do shower every day, and wash with a mild soap. What's up
