Generally, my workout routine of late looks a lot like this:

M-W-F and sometimes Sat or Sunday I'll lift weights for about 40 - 45 minutes. No more than 4 x / week.

5 days a week, I run. Usually on the weekend, I'll put in a long run of 7+ miles. 1 day is interval based (400 meter to 800 meter repeats blow 5K race pace with rest in betweens). Another day is a hard tempo run (3 miles at near 5K race pace continuously). The rest is mostly easy runs or I'll throw in a trail run. Average run is about 5 to 6 miles per session. On weekends, I may race in local events, so that alters my schedule a bit.

I walk the dog for 45 minutes 7 days a week.

Sometimes I swim once or twice a week, if I have time and feel like it. Mostly about 30 minutes a time. Just to do something different.

Without worrying about my diet, I've managed to keep steady at 160 pounds for the past several years (at 6 feet tall). I eat largely what I want, but with moderation. If I want a handful of chips, I eat some. A cookie is fine... but everything is in moderation.

Hope that helps.
