Many people are assuming your boyfriend may be gay, which is not necessarily true. I have known of a number of men who enjoyed anal stimulation but were not aroused by the idea of a man doing it. If you are still concerned this may be the case you should speak to your boyfriend about it. After all, he was open and comfortable enough with you to express his desires. You should be comfortable enough to express your concerns.

There in no such thing as normal. The only way something is abnormal is if establish an absolute normal lifestyle that everyone should conform to and to be honest that's KKK or Hitler territory and I can't see that being a good way to go.
I know that this is not a usual thing to do but I have encountered it a few times in books and films. It's a bit kinky sure but it's not like a eating turds while whacking off over a picture of a 90 year old crone.
If the man was gay he probably would want a man to have sex with him and if he was in the closet he would almost certainly steer away from anything like this rather than indulge in homosexual urges he wants to repress. So I would say with (almost) absolute certainty that this man is not gay (bisexual perhaps but not gay).

Maybe not. Personally, I've just spent the weekend trying to convince the girlfriend that I'm anti the idea of being shafted up the **** with a strap on after she suggested wanted to do it to me. However, if I'm completely honest, I've washed my butt quite intimately on several occasions and know it's an interesting feeling which if coupled with some other form of stimulation could possibly increase orgasm. My main fear is that I would not want to be seen to enjoy something that I connect with gay sex because I am most definitely, 110million % heterosexual and find anything 'gay' quite stomach churning. But then hey, I want to do it to her so guess she might get her way. Can't see it being a turn on though.

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer for his request, but each to their own.
If you BOTH feel comfortable with the idea, it shouldn't be a problem to at least try it out. Either one of you love it or hate it, or both love it or hate it. Then take it from there.

He might be suggesting that he is not completely straight or maybe he just wants to find out what is like and would wither have your helping him to find out rather than a man.

DUH.Yeah. Any man that wants it up his....you know must have a fantasy of having sex with a man. I do not know why a heterosexual man would want you to do that.
