If you are a man no major issues, if you are a woman I would not recommend it unless it is a lotion designed for that specific use.
If you are a guy I would suggest you use the kind of lotion that has extra oils (like Kerri Lotion) or you will be going though a large amount of lotion.
But best bet guy or girl go to the Pharmacy or Sex shop in your area & get the right type of lubricant made specifcally for that purpose.

No, you shouldn't use lotion for a lubricant. They are oil based and have alcohol in them. Use only water-based, like KY jelly or Astroglide. Even your saliva is better than lotion.
