her level went from 287 to 260 and it is still considered high, she cant take the meds to lower it because of her kidney condition, why is this strict diet not working for her

So let me get this right, you are advocating the total extermination of breeds to stop animals being slaughtered. Maybe extermination is a bit strong but certainly the demise of many breeds of animal from family cat thru cow, sheep, chicken, turkey, to name a few.
Sad world, no lambs springing about the fields, no calves suckling their mother, no jolly little chicks, all golden yellow, bubbling in a tray, no cockerell crowing to announce the morning, no cat sitting on your lap purring, yes, sad world. Surely it is better to give the animal a good life than none at all. Perhaps, let us exterminate all humans, no wars, no cruelty to animals, no global warming.......

Why do you guys oppose eating meat? IF our ancestors didnt eat meat, we would still be hitting stuff with rocks. Scientists have said that meat was the main reason our brains grew so big from the protein or some thing.

I have a couple questions. I just became vegetarian. It was a hard, but really good decision. But, since I am the only vegetarian in my house, I shall ask y'all my questions.

1. Is it okay to eat SIMULATED Bacon Bits? They just taste like bacon, and have no meat, so can I eat them in a salad still?

2. What can I eat to ensure I get enough protien, B Vitamins, and Iron, and Vitamin D?

3. Can I still be vegetarian and eat fish (Tuna) once in a while. I heard that I cannot, but also heard that I can? I am confused on this. I would like to eat fish, since it has a lot of good things, but it is still meat so....

**Please do not reccommend protein shakes, vitamin pills or suppliments. I cannot use them as they interfere with my medication.**

are tooth pastes vegetarian? i think a brand or two claims to be veggie tooth paste. what about the rest?

come to think of it shouldnt it be told to the consumer whether it is vegetarian or not?

not just tooth paste but other food products too? some companies do display the contents of a product in detail. but nt all.atleast not in india.

even though some rule has been made about this issue no one is really strictly following it to let the user know what the contents r in detail...specially about the vegetarian /non vegetarian contents.

so shouldn't it be made a rule tht veg or non veg lable should be there to allow the the consumer to make a choice?

and after controlling the urge to hurl, i got to thinking...why not have a vegan eating contest?? c'mon, we can join the ranks of fun too! if we can't enjoy ourselves, and laugh at how many tofutti ice cream bars we can cram into our mouths, or how many veggie chicken nuggets we can force into our stomachs, then who will?
