Is there a substance, root , compound or anything of that
sort that will repair skin blemishes that is vegan and free of
animal testing. If so can list the product name and where
it can be found?

Any help much appreciated thanx.

I had some friends show me a book on methods, recipes, and ways of taking beans, nuts and seeds of all kinds and turning them into a milky texture. Then a coagulant is added to this milky format to "cheese" it just like they put coagulant in soy milk to make tofu. I can't remember the name or author of the book. I don't know how to look it up anywhere. The book may have come out at least ten or fifteen years ago. I am looking for someone who has heard about this book.

all the answers i read in a previously asked question concerning vegetarians seemed to me like there is a great deal of uncharitible feeling directed against both sides from the other. all this talk about vegetarians being more compassionate appeared to be a bunch of bull, no pun intended. i saw some fairly vicious comments from so-called compassionate vegetarians. my own opinion is eat what you want to eat and DONT condemn others for their personal choice. The God who gave us vegetables for food is the same God who also gave us meat for food. i see no harm in a vegetarian diet as long as nutritional needs are met, the same as i see no harm in eating meat. if cholesterol and fat cause problems, then one should take a hard look at the AMOUNT of meat in a particular diet. anything in excess is bad for you. in my opinion, a healthy diet can include lots of veggies AND a moderate amount of meat or animal derived protien. but what one choses to eat is just that, one's own personal choice.

I know cholesterol is usually a bad thing but i think you need a little to survive, so how do vegans get it?

I love to eat salads and i've even got my husband enjoying them. the problem is those ready made salads in produce always smell bad and lettuce just dont seem to last. I know not to use any metal on it but it seems to me that its the water that makes it go bad. even though i dry it and even wrap it in paper towels

Do you know that humans are not supposed to eat meat by the way our teeth are shaped? (it's true)

Do you notice that every time a meat eater walks by a vegan or vegetarian they are always talking about meat when they know that you don't eat it? I can't stand that!

Farmers who grow crops (grains, leaves, roots, fruits, vegetables) get multiple deer tags for hunting season. Combines and various farm equipment kill animals from mice to racoons, rabbits to pheasant. The babies and eggs of these adult animals get crushed and killed.
I am NOT against vegans, or their diet. You eat what you want. I realize that these creatures die to support my diet. Just please stop pretending that you are doing so much good for the environment, and for animals. Your diet supports the killing of these animals. Understand it, and deal with it. Stop lying to yourselves. You live in a modern culture of convenience. That is the only reason you can eat the way you do. It really has nothing to do with feeling bad about killing animals. Animals are killed anyway. Those who have conditions that require them to be vegan, 100 years ago, would have had a rough time finding a diet with anything close to a variety of food. What do healthy people die from?

I'm vegetarian for 4 years now, I'm going to univerity and it would be nice to take a part time job, but I don't know about cooking meat and stuff like that, would it be wrong if I ask the manager to give me work that doesn't include cooking animals? and also, do you think working at mcdonalds is something low?

tnaks for your answers!

I grew up a meat eater. Do you think they were given these names because people couldn't from the bottom of their hear say "We're having pig tonight for supper!"

I want to become a vegetarian, for animal cruelty, but I think I am having a hard time because growing up; meat was not considered an animal!?! It was just another thing on the plate, like your vegetables! I now have many regrets now (eating ANIMALS). Is this what I have to tell myself every time I smell the BBQ?---That I'm craving ANIMALS? Man, I'm finding this really tough-----it's like quitting smoking!!!
