Yes. Just wash it as you normally would.

I had spinach about a week ago and haven't had a problem. :)

There are thousands of cases of people getting sick and dying from e.coli tainted meat and poultry each year. But those never make the papers!

I wonder why...

As long as we're growing produce near enough to factory farms that our veggies are subject to "manuer lagoon run-off" there is a danger.

Yes, even the "ready to eat" bagged stuff should be washed.

Washing doesn't mean rinse with just water. You're safer with organic produce, but conventional produce is dowsed in stuff that's meant to stay on even in the rain.

Use Fit or Veggie Wash or any such product.

yes the spinach thing was only with one brand and only because they didn't even wash it, good thing cause i love spinach!

The e coli scare is considered "over" but you should watch dates, wash it, and make sure it looks and smells fresh.
