I know celery is really good for you, but I can't stomach it by itself...the taste is just horrid to me.

Any good ideas on how to eat it without adding a lot of fat/sugar/salt? The peanut butter thing cannot be used daily lol.

Thank you.

I've been vegetarian for most of my life because I felt eating meat involved senseless, painful killing...and now plants can feel pain?

Whatever am I to do?!

Have you read "the Secret Life of PLants"?

Plants feel pain and fear. They know
when you cut them and kill them.

It has been proven.

All living things Suffer at the expense of our need
to survive and gain sustenance.

And as for eating meat, i eat organic meats from
properly and compassionately raised animals.

How can you be compassionate to a plant?
No one cares about them.

I’m just looking for some healthy, low fat [vegetarian] snacks or meal ideas. I’ve heard hummus is good, but is it healthy? I’m pretty sure it’s got protein in it, but is hummus a good source of protein? What are some good things to eat with hummus? (Chips? Crackers? Raw Veggies?)

They think that if we didn't kill animals to eat them that they would have no reason to be here. Does anyone else think that is sad? I am a vegan but vegetarians drink milk and/or eat eggs and would keep Cows, sheep, pigs,Chickens etc as pets!!!!

The expiration date on the Tofu says Jan 28. I have kept it refrigerated and I was going to cook it today and saw the date. Do you think it will still be ok?

I have been vegetarian for a few months now, but have eaten tuna and shrimp a couple of times. My friend said that vegans do not eat fish, but vegetarians can. I figured that since they're not killed in slaughterhouses they're OK. Can someone tell me what fish go through or provide a good link? Thankyou.

I've been recommended for a high cholesterol test, and really just want to know why. I don't really care, but it just seems odd- y'know, as a vegan I consume no animal products, and I don't think that I've really ever knowingly consumed a tropical oil, or at least I haven't often. But they recommended me for the test because of heredity, and I was wondering why they thought that high cholesterol would still be an issue. Can anyone explain?
