Buckwheat pancakes (ie at TJs Country place or homemade) have buckwheat flour that is high in protein. Quinoa is high in protein. Oats are high in protein.Soymilk is high in protein. Really everything adds up, if you eat a fairly balanced diet, you shouldn't have much problems getting enough protein. Seitan is a fake meat that you make from a type of wheat flour , I believe (have recipes, not tried). There are fake meats at the grocery store, made from soy (Bocca, morningstar farms).

Milk and cheese? A lot of whole grains also have protein, but it's not complete -- you need beans to help round it out so you stay healthy. Does fish count as meat? How about whey powder that comes in cans, like the body-builders use? There's tempeh and other soy derivatives, too.
You could also use meat and fish as condiments rather than the main dish; you might find you enjoy it more. Little bacon bits on your salad, bonito flakes with soy sauce on your spinach. A little bit of meat equals a lot of protein in nuts, beans and soy derivatives. So even if you hate it, you only have to eat a little to stay healthy. Whereas with non-meat protein, you need to eat quite a bit more to stay healthy.
However, if you really hate it, don't eat it. Maybe your body is trying to tell you that you've got enough protein. When you need protein, you should get cravings for it. In theory, anyway.

Bagels are a great source of protein, and some other breads are also full of complete proteins. Special K just came out with protein water, but usually you could have powerbar types of prouducts. My favorite non-meat source would have to be soy crisps, they're like chips!

Food, pure and simple. Everything has protein in it, and since we need only 4-9% of our caloric intake to come from protein, no need to worry about a specific protein source. It's like asking, what's a good calorie source? Food, that's it. All of it.

You don't have to eat tofu to be a healthy veggie!!!!! You can pretty much eat what you ate before becoming a veggie but in a veggie way... Just do a google search but put "vegetarian" in front of what you are looking for and "recipe" behind eg: "vegetarian cottage pie recipe" or "vegetarian spaghetti recipe" ect... You can also google "vegetarian breakfast recipes", "vegetarian lunch recipes", "vegetarian dinner recipes" or even "vegetarian snack recipes"... BTW, legumes are awesome!!!! *Smile* If you have had chilli or baked beans you have had legumes!!!! I am POSITIVE you can find LOTS of delicious things to eat without having to even think of tofu or use a fake meat!!!!!! Happy searching for recipes!!!!!!
