All cheese is plastic! I learned that the closest thing to the protein in cheese that would be vegan is latex and who wants to eat latex!!!!

Isn't cheese just processed milk? You have to make cheese to have cheese. Okay, not necessarily you, but a cheesemaker. Isn't that a form of processing? I mean, it's not like you can milk a cow or goat or sheep and cheese instantly oozes out. It's gotta be mixed with rennet and allowed to harden. Mmmm, rennet... oops, I mean cow stomach lining. Yum... oops, I mean, yuck!

"Processed cheese (or process cheese) is a food product made from regular cheese and other unfermented dairy ingredients, plus emulsifiers, extra salt, and food colorings..."

Mmm -- extra salt!
The girl above telling you it's plastic and gross isn't at all wrong. When I was small, I disdained both processed cheese and Barbie dolls, and referred to the former as "Barbie-doll-leg cheese." Compare the two; they are pretty similar in appearance.
But, mostly, real cheese just tastes better. Nicer texture. More flavours. Etc.

Kraft singles are processed! A block of cheese isn't. The real question is why does processed cheese melt so much better? LOL:)

Well, one's disgusting and is probably made from factory-farmed cows; the other's disgusting, probably made from factory-farmed cows, and is processed.
