i've read these kind of stupid Q's in emails and i wanna know why toasters do have a setting of 6 that makes the bread a ball of carbon when you usually only need a setting of 2 or so? And bagels and crumpets only take about a 3??!
So why make a setting of 6?

I keep reading online that Velveeta doesn't mold, and before now, we've never had a problem with it molding.
In these last few months, it always has some mold on it! Of course it can just be cut away.
Any idea why this is such a recent change though?

The frozen, really big kind? I wanted to pick one up tomorrow morning and bake it for a potluck at my daughter's school, but I forget how long it takes to bake and cool. Thanks!

I started a flour and water mix and was going to make sourdough, but it died. 2 days into the starter, I got the big frothy stuff you want, so I fed it that morning. I was then going to make bread the next day, but when I got home from work, I noticed that the starter was inactive. I watched it for a while, but it was dead. In fact, it started to stink (after 4 days). Not like a starter, but a very nasty smell. What happened? How did my starter go from very active to dead in a single day?

I'd sort of like to bring something simple but good too...it's an Italian Family but not all desserts have to be Italian...I love tiramasu but nopie..won't attempt that lol

Please share your cheap meal ideas. The fewer ingrediants the better b/c price adds up when you buy 5 bottles of differant spices for one meal.

Ok I am not talking about ones with any kind of cereal in them. I had an awesome recipe from my mom but unfortunately left it in missouri when i moved. Anyways I know the ingredients were peanut butter (1/2 cup i think), light corn syrup(1 cup maybe?) powdered milk (dont remember how much), and powdered sugar (dont remember how much). My question is does anyone know the recipe,, I mean how much of each ingredient?

I want to make Meringue Cookies, but just plain, with eggs, and sugar. How do i make them? I really want them plain, no nuts or chocolate. Last time i made them , they tasted like omlet, i thought i was going to puke lol, i don't know where they got their taste? Anyways, i need a quick and easy recipe, step-by-step instructions would be awesome!! And what should they look like, when i whip them with the electric mixer? Like fluffy and light, or runny and smooth? Please describe the texture. Thanks!!!
