Grab some frozen marinara mix ( squid rings, clams, prawns, etc ) from your supermarket .... place in paper towel and defrost in micro ...... throw this on top of your fav cheese and tomato topped pizza base ..... squeeze on some garlic .... add a pinch of salt and pepper ....... add a few anchovvys .... drizzle some of the anchovvy oil over the pizza ....... throw on some sliced olives ( if you like ) add a few bits of artichoke hearts and just a smidgeon of mozzarella over the top ( just to hold everything on top ) and bake at medium heat for less time than you would a pizza with meat.

PIZZA BIANCA (WHITE PIZZA)

1 loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
Or any bread dough recipe
2 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. white wine, optional
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 c. shredded mozzarella
1 c. shredded provolone

Roll bread dough on lightly floured surface to fit pizza pan or baking sheet. Place on oiled pan. Pinch edges of dough into 1/2 inch rim all the way around pizza.
In medium saucepan saute garlic until soft. Blend in cornstarch, salt, pepper and spices. Gradually add milk, wine and Parmesan cheese. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, cook approximately 2 minutes. Let white sauce cool slightly.

Brush dough surface with small amount of olive oil. Then spread white sauce over crust. Sprinkle mozzarella and Provolone over sauce. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

One of my favorites is to brush the crust with olive oil (leave out the tomato sauce), top with carmelized onion and gorgonzola cheese. Yumm.

I usually do tomato sauce, then parmesan cheese, then mozzerella cheese, then a topping like bacon, hamburger, pepperonni, or ham. It's delicious. The parmesan cheese makes it zesty. Also, try putting lots of parmesan cheese on the crust, it makes it like a breadstick. Yum!

If you don't want meat, add pineapple chunks, tomato bits, chopped onions, 2 kinds of cheese, mozzarella and cheddar, olives, sliced, green, red or yellow peppers. I like to sprinkle cooked macaroni on mine. Sounds weird but it's yummy!

try a jar of alfredo sauce, meat of your choice, diced chicken is great, fresh spinach, green onions and diced fresh tomatoes. A bit of pepper and tarragon to season and tope with cheese of choice. oooh I'm hungry now!

Spread a layer of peanut butter on the crust before adding toppings. This was very popular back in the 70's, and I survived it! lol

Some people like ham and pineapple on pizza, not me, but thought I would pass that along. :)

depp_lover has it. I would only add one thing. Anchovies. We have a little pizza parlor here that makes the white garlic sauce with anchovies and it is fantastic.
