I've got some vegemite, half a packet of twisties and some left over spaggetti. I dont think that will impress them. What should I do cause I really want to make a good impression because I think they will be regular vistors. I met them at a swingers party.

when I just called in to say hello on my way home form the gym... but stayed all night drinking and eating their really nice marinated steak and salad... should I drive home or catch a cab?

How would I ever thank them enough for their hospitality?

Cast iron skillets are very heavy, sometimes so heavy it prohibits their use, cannot be put in the electric dishwasher, require seasoning after every use, their handles get too hot to touch, etc.

I only like chicken flavor so....If there is any fried chicken in the house, i add some of pieces of that. I love adding peas and broccoli to it too. I pour out the water before I add the seasoning, and eat it like a pasta--then topped off with some ground fresh pepper.

I am realizing people are quite confused as to what our needs really are these days.
When I have asked recently what staples are when it comes to food stuffs, there has been some confusion. Processed foods are the norm now, and it's hard to find a recipe that doesn't call for a can of cream of chicken soup, a can of biscuits, or velveeta cheese. Isn't there anyone who cooks with basic, whole ingredients anymore?
Now, to give you a fair shot, I am asking what your opinion is when it comes to true "food staples".

How about a trade? Here is mine:

9x13 Casserole Dish

1. Dump 2 boxes of Stuffing into dish - mix in butter & water
2. Lay a few pieces of boneless skinless chicken (even if it is frozen) on top of Stuffing.
3. Spread 1 can of cream of chicken soup on top of Chicken.
4. Top that with Swiss Cheese Slices.

Bake at 425 for 40 minutes :-) EAT

I have a bunch of pulled chicken pieces and I would love anyones easy-quick-tasty recipes to use it up.

Thanks in advance

I got a jelly mold from tesco which has the shape of 4 little pumpkins, but the jelly won't come out as a whole lump. I left it to set for ages and the jelly was a proper consistency, so how can I stop it from sticking to the mold because I want my jellies to look like pumpkins darn it!
