Please include ingredients, instructions, and where you first came across this recipe. (Or whether it is your own creation.)

I've invested in several crockpot cookbooks, but it seems there only a few recipes out of each one that is any good. So now I'm looking for road-tested, tried and true family-approved recipes, and would appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Hi, i just like to have some words to boost me up... I am 17 & It has just been a while since i discovered my passion in cooking. No one taught me to cook (yeah i know how to cook but i consider myself a "beginer"), and i just learned it from my self with the help of recipe books and/or cook books that i have in hand. Sometimes i got it right, and sometimes i mess up with it and when that happens, it make me depress... Any inspirational advice?

Ok, so I've got this friend with food issues. She makes cooking a real challenge! Anyways tonight she called me up and wanted to know how to make chicken fried steak. I told her the only way I know how, where you dip the meat into egg and a flour based mixture and "fry" it.... It grossed her out!

So does anyone have a recipe for "baked" chicken fried steak without egg??

It's just with a couple of my closest friends.. We're going to have s'mores in my backyard but then I want snacks for the sleepover too. We're going to have chips and cheese dip but I was also debating between two sweet options to go with it-

Option 1:
Puppy chow, you know that chex cereal covered w/ chocolate and powdered sugar, me and my friends love it =)

Option 2:
This recipe I found in a magazine where you roll out sugar cookie dough and bake it as a 'crust', then top it with whipped cream and fresh fruit like a pizza.. It sounds really yummy.

I can't decide! Which sounds better for a sleepover for a few 13-14 year olds?
Thanks!! =)
