I've just bought some from the supermarket, which looks so yummy, but I am stuck as to what to do with it!

I love seafood, even on it's own - any ideas please?

Please keep it simple though as I am terrible at cooking!

Okay, so, my friend said that a good hangover breakfast would be this...

In a bowl, whisk up 3 eggs, a splash of cream and 3 tsp mayonnaise.

Make a cheese and ham sandwich (two slices of bread obviously), add tomato ketchup, mayo...aw, hell, whatever you like! Make sure you use some sort of spread so that the sanwich sticks together while you dip it into the egg.

Shallow/deep fry until the egg becomes golden and there you have it!

Eggy ham and cheese toastie.

Serve with fries if you have it for lunch or with tomato ketchup and a niiiice cup of tea in the morning.

I tried it (shallow fried) and ommmgggg... <3

Does anyone else have a hangover food cure or a heart stopping muncher? How do you make it?...Not that I wana kill myself but trying recipes wouldn't hurt.

I'm going to make some Pasta Alfredo tonight and have in the past made it with only the usual butter, cream and parm. I haven't been really satisfied with the thickness of the sauce. I saw a couple of recipes on www.allrecipes.com that included an egg yolk.
Was wondering if any of you use an egg yolk in your recipe and if it really makes a difference.

I'm making spaghetti and getting ready to put it in the oven. I noticed the date on top of the can and the expiration date is Sept 15th. Do you think I can still eat it or should I run to the store?

OK, So Traditionally My husband and his twin brother each get 15-18 lb butterball turkeys for free from work. We usually have Turkey gravy, Mashed Potatoes, cornbread stuffing, Broccoli and Cheese Casserole, Mac and Cheese, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Au-gratin potatoes, Fresh Veggies, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, Rolls, and I'm sure I left some things out. For Dessert We have Pecan and Pumpkin pies as well as a cobbler . I want to do something a bit different, I'm from the south so I do not wish to go to extreme, but enough to show my mother in law that I am capable of balancing a Thanksgiving dinner and being Original. So anyone that has any good suggestions for a switch from the ordinary foods or good recipes that I could try before thanksgiving, please do not hesitate to leave them here. I would most definitely appreciate it.

What do you use to score a cucumber along the length of the cucumber for decoration...like the fancy sliced cucumbers you sometimes get in restaurant salads?

My b/f hates cake, but loves pumpkin pie. So for his 30th b-day I do not want to serve a food he hates, I want to make a giant pumpkin pie (his favourite). I want it to be the size of a large slab cake, so as to serve all his family and friends. Do you think that is possible or will the middle be too crumbly or soft???
