actually, it wasnt me, it was my grandpa. he used to be a conservation officer during the Depression. I guess he got used to eating anything.
to prepare a beaver, you need to soak it for hours. he used whole bottles of sauces to help the taste, then discarded the liquid and started over with fresh water and even more sauce. total cooking time was like 8-10 hrs.
was actually pretty good.

when I first got married I tried to cook my husband an African meal so I went to the butcher shop and got some Antelope meat went home cooked it and it was tough as leather. It has no fat.

mexican worms. Sautee'd in a taco. They are the same worms they put in that expensive taquila. Sounds gross but its friekin' awesome.
edit=
simply sautee with a little butter (vineger to kick if you like) and throw them in a corn tortillia or peta. little cream cheese and your set. It tastes like pork with a game kindof taste mixed in.

squid. I made the mistake of saving a few cents by buying the whole squid as opposed to the cleaned one. It was fantastically nasty having to pull the skin & cartilege off it. As I recall it quickly turned into pizza night.

Kangaroo. I guess that might be weird if you don't live here in Australia. Here we can buy it in the supermarkets steaks etc. Just throw it on the barbecue
