I was cooking the macoroni elbows and tried one and it was done....then after i stirred in the sauce realized only some had cooked and the rest are chewy can i stick em in the oven...or put them in water again?

Yes, you can finish cooking them in teh oven, like a casserole. Just add a little water, no more than 1/4 cup cover with foil and bake for 15 - 20 minutes in the oven. I would preheat the oven to about 325 first. If you want it to be more like a casserole. Cover the noodles with cheese and remove the foil at the end.

Yes you can put in a casserole dish with a lid in the oven or microwave . you need to give them a quick stir so that they will evenly cook and you may need to add a little more liquid

they are already in the sauce then you dont want to put them back in water. I make my lasagne with unbaked noodles so you should be able to continue cooking in the oven. Just make sure there is enough liquid to rehydrate the pasta.

don't put them in water again you said you put the sauce on , just let it simmer in the pan for a while and stir now and then

definitely, and maybe add some grated cheese and stir that in. Put some on top too - there you have it - pasta bake!
