Yes, I know I posted this before, but that was like at midnight and probably not as many people saw it. So anyway:

Does anyone know any camping recipes that involve marshmallows...other than s'mores? I've also heard about banana boats, and I'm thinking about it.

Simple marshmallow camping recipes that involve roasting the marshmallow(s) over a campfire, please!
or at least some other way to melt the marshmallow...

I can't believe that the real recipe is still unknown after so many years. Sure there are a lot of "real recipes" out there, but they are just guesses. Isn't it just something you can test in a lab?

Hi, I was looking through some of my mom's Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks from the 1950's. I tried this recipe, and I would like to know what you think. Would you change anything about it? Anything you can think of that might make it better? I liked it, but I still think it could use 'something else'.

Ham Loaf Line Up
1 Long loaf of french bread, sliced almost to the bottom, at 1 inch intervals.
1 can Prince's canned ham
1/4 sweet relish, or sweet picalilli
thin slices of swiss cheese, such as Leerdammer.

Mash the ham together with the relish until you have a paste.
Spread inbetween each slice with butter, then spread every other slice with the ham mixture, then place the cheese slices in the empty spaces. Wrap in foil, and bake at 180 for 25 minutes.

This was an American recipe, that called for deviled ham, which I have never seen in the UK, so I used a Prince's canned ham. What do you think?

Can I just buy soft tortilla shells? Flour or Corn? And can I just wrap them around something and bake them? Anyone know a good way to do it? I can't buy pre-made ones at any stores around here.

I never see them in recipes for Wonton soup, beyond the info on the pork filling in the actual wontons. I am talking about those little strips of pork that are floating around in the broth. I'd like to prepare them for my own wonton soup recipes.

We had a lunch catered at the office today & they brought a wonderful meal of teriaki meatloaf, loaded potato casserole & carmelized green beans. The beans were still semi-crunchy, carmelized on the outside with small chunks of ham as well.
Does anyone know the recipe for this dish - it was wonderful!!

Thanks!

It can be canned or freezer jam but it must be like the Smuckers All Fruit Jams are, where they use pear juice to replace the sugar or artificial sweeteners. Also, I need a complete recipe please. I've searched the web several times and found nothing so far. Please do not give jelly recipes, but some jam recipes allow you to substitute different fruits for the same recipe so if you have one that is for a berry jam like strawberry, I'm sure it would work. Thank you.

Need your help everyone!! My soon to be husband is coming home at the end of this month on his mid-tour leave from Iraq. I want to make him a welcome home dinner, but I have absolutely no clue what to make him! I'm no top chef but I can whip up a pretty good dish here and there, so keep it moderately simple. Also it's been like 123 degrees for him over there and he'll be coming home to 60-75 degree weather so I'm aiming towards something comforting yet suitable for summer. He's not a picky eater, but I'm sure you all can understand how i want this to be perfect for him. I'm seriously considering pairing dinner with a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert...so maybe suggest a dish that will go with it!? Thank you! I really appreciate it!!

I don't have time to cook something every night, but I want us to avoid fast foods and eat healthy. I am thinking about what meals I could cook up all at once and freeze them and have them last a couple of weeks at least.
