When asked to bring something to eat to a party I always go to the produce section and buy every kind of fruit I can get my hands on. I buy a head of Green Leaf Lettuce, Slice all the fruit and arrange it on a bed of lettuce (for garnish) on the biggest tray you can find. So now you have this huge tray of grapes, orange slices, apples, peaches, kiwi, strawberries... all you need is a bowl of chilled yogurt in the center for dipping. It works.

Is this dessert you want to bring, or are you open to finger foods and sides?
Although maybe not be price wise economical for 100 people, but I like to bring some melon balls wrapped in Prosciutto (Honeydews and Cantaloupe a good combo, and colorful).
Another favorite is stuffed pepperdoo's
Usually at any good market that has an Olive Bar, there are usually some pepperdoo peppers. They look like miniature red bell peppers with the tops cut off. They are sweet and tangy. I usually stuff them with an herbed cream cheese or other soft herbal cheese spread. They are bite sized and delicious.. Hope this solves your dilemma..good luck

*EASY ROTEL*
Take one can of Rotel Chili's and Tomatoes and liquefy it in the blender and cube up one pound of velveeta in cubes small enough to fit through the top of the blender. Drop the cubes in one by one and let the blender grind them up until all are in the blender and blended nicely. Pour out the contents and you have a quick dip in less than 5 mins that you can dip right out of the fridge without having to heat it up. NO more worries about scorching the cheese or having a big mess to clean up.
To clean up the blender fill it with hot water and a LITTLE dishsoap and run the blender for awhile, dump and do it again then rinse and presto the mess is cleaned up. 5min dip from start to finish. No more need to carry a small crock pot to keep the dip warm just take it out of the cooler or fridge and start dipping!
