Has anyone tried this? Is it good? Does it really taste good without boiling-or should I boil it a little anyway?

Baked ziti? Many people prepare them differently. Some mix the ziti with the sauce, cheese and ricotto then lay it out in the dish. And some pour the sauce first, ziti second, cheese and ricotto, third and fourth. I want to know how you make it and why do you do it the way you do?

I am using Lawry's hawaiian marinade for my chicken. When my fiance' grilled it on the George Foreman it didn't really turn out great. He also didn't marinade it for long. I am thinking of marinading it for 2 1/2 hrs. before baking it in the oven. Do you have any tips, recipes, or ideas for great side dishes? My fiance' is hawaiian so i really want him to love it! Thanks!

i was thinking about pickles and felt that scientifically they are just like any other vegetable that we eat for food. they too have spices and oils in them. i think its just that they have excess of oil and/or salt in them which gives them long shelf life. isn't it true?

I need to find a website(s) that show recipes for popular restaurant foods that I can make at home. I'm tired of eating out and wasting money when I can make it at home.

First I would like to know how many people like pecan pie?
I have been told numerous times I make the best pecan pie, so I have been thinking about opening up a business online, where people can order them. I wouldn't just be making traditional pecan pie, but pecan pie with a twist, like chocolate pecan pie, and cranberry pecan pie, and so forth. I am also curious if anyone has any ideas for the name of my business. I need something catchy! Also, if you have any flavor ideas that you would like to submit, I am open to anything. So, I need these 4 things: I need to know if you like pecan pie, why, and flavor ideas, and any name ideas... thanks

I'm writing a story about home cooks who enjoy duplicating recipes from restaurants -- like Applebees, Red Lobster, Swiss Chalet, etc. I'm curious to hear from people who like to do this, especially in Canada. Do you do it to save money? To make restaurant recipes more healthy? Or is it the thrill of sleuthing out and recreating a "secret" recipe? Or some combination/something else? Please e-mail me if you'd like to chat about this phenomenon. Thanks!
