First I would like to know how many people like pecan pie?
I have been told numerous times I make the best pecan pie, so I have been thinking about opening up a business online, where people can order them. I wouldn't just be making traditional pecan pie, but pecan pie with a twist, like chocolate pecan pie, and cranberry pecan pie, and so forth. I am also curious if anyone has any ideas for the name of my business. I need something catchy! Also, if you have any flavor ideas that you would like to submit, I am open to anything. So, I need these 4 things: I need to know if you like pecan pie, why, and flavor ideas, and any name ideas... thanks

Name ideas: House of Pecan Pies or Pepe House
2 Recipe ideas:
Apple and Pecan Strudel w Cinnamon
Serves 4
4-5 small, sweet eating apples
• juice of ½ a lemon
• 80g butter
• 4 sheets of filo pasty
• 150g pecan nuts, chopped
• ground cinnamon
• 150g dark muscovado sugar
• 60g caster sugar
• a handful of dried cranberries
• good-quality vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4.
Peel and slice the apples thinly, and put them in a bowl of cold water with a little lemon juice to stop them going brown. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a low heat and keep warm.
Carefully cut the filo pasty into 30 x 50cm sheets with a knife. Mix the pecans, cinnamon and dark muscovado sugar together.
Lay the first sheet of filo pasty on a clean tea towel on your work surface and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle over a third of the pecan mixture. Lay another sheet of filo pastry on top, brush with butter and sprinkle again with a third of the pecan mixture. Repeat with the third sheet and top everything with the fourth sheet.
Drain your apples well and toss with the caster sugar and drained cranberries. Spread them out along one edge of the top sheet of filo pastry. Brush the opposite edge with a little water. Starting at the edge with the apple mixture on, gently lift the edge of the tea towel and use it to help you roll the pastry up lengthways like a Swiss roll – the apples will end up at the centre. Once it’s all rolled up, press your strudel together gently.
Place it on a baking try and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with some good vanilla ice cream.
Try making the strudel with a little ground ginger and cloves for a lovely twist.
Chocolate Fridge Cake w Pecan and Meringues
Serves 16
200g digestive biscuits
• 110g whole pecans, roughly chopped
• 110g pistachio nuts, peeled
• 10 glace cherries
• 2 ready-made meringue nests
• 150g unsalted butter
• 1 tablespoon golden syrup
• 200g dark chocolate
This chocolate cake is wicked! And even better, you don't need to do any baking.
Break the biscuits into small pieces directly into a large bowl. Add the pecans, pistachio nuts and cherries and mix together. Put the rest of the ingredients into a separate, heatproof bowl and put on a low heat over a pan of simmering water until the butter and chocolate have melted.
Combine the biscuit mix with the chocolate mixture. Line a 30 x 20 cm plastic container with clingfilm, leaving plenty of extra film at the edges to help turn the cake out later. Whack everything into the container, place in the fridge to firm up then turn out and cut into chunky slices.
This cake can be kept in an airtight container for a few days, and it actually improves in flavour!
Good luck

1.) Pecan pie is great!
2.) Because it is pecan pie
3.) No flavor ideas, I'll leave that up to your creativity
4.) A good name for your business could be "Pecan Pizazz", "'s Pie Shop" (basic can be the way to go) "Twisty Pied", something like that. I hope something helps! Email me with the site, I might have to buy one later!

Oh I love pecan pie, but I don't eat it very often because of the calorific value. I love the taste of pecans and the texture of the pie. Delious
Flavour ideas, Well I'm a traditionalist myself but the chocolate one sounds interesting. They might also work with mixed dried fruit like glaces cherries
Names...............what about Just Pecan or Pecan Mix.

How about"Slice Of Paradise".I love pecan pie.I think the crust can make or break the pie. A melt-in-your-mouth crust and plenty of pecans. Heavenly. Good luck with your business venture.

Pecan Pie is okay. Maybe it would be better if you made Pumpkin Pecan Pie--pumpkin seems to make any food better.
And how about the Squirrel's Lunch--it's pretty nutty.

PeekOnPie, Pie Dreams, Sweetie-Pie, Cutie-Pie, Pie2Go, Pie.com, My Favorite Pie, Pie-in-the-Sky, Sky Pies,
Yum Pie Co.
My favorite is sweet-potato pie with a topping similar to pecan pie. It is so rich and good, bathing the tongue with gooey sweetness.
Good luck!
