I know they're cheap to buy, I'd just like to try making them.
I'm in the UK, and all of the recipes I can find on the internet are American and use corn syrup. What's corn syrup? It's not something we have over here - I take it it's glucose syrup, but I could be very wrong!

There is a large number of recipes on marthastewart.com. I don't know if all the recipes in the new cook book are on the website or not-but is it worth buying the book rather than just looking recipes up on the net?

My job is having a potluck for St. Patricks day, and the theme is green or gold foods. We are short a couple of main dishes. Even if you have a good recipe that I can add food color to.

I've lost the recipe which was in a magazine - it was quite simple - if I remember it right it had coffee in it too. It was a mixture that goes in the oven and devides itself into a rich sponge with sauce underneath - really yummy - if anyone can help I would be really grateful

I was thinking of making an omelette with:
- pre-saute'd green peppers and a little onion
- fresh pineapple
- a little grated marble cheese

Do you think the pineapple will make it taste weird? What about if I added ham to it?

sauted onions and green peppers and fresh pineapple (perhaps with cheese too)..

I work at a restaurant where the chefs remove the cooked meat from the skewer with the same cloth again and again, as it seems very unhigyienic I suggested they use other method but the head chefs is adamant that's the only way to do it and it's not a problem. Would that be right? If not how shoud it be done?

I tried Parmesan cheese for two minutes and got a piece as hard as the tile on my floor. I want to use it as a bowl for serving a salad, or even spaghetti. Saw it on TV by a Sicilian chef. He microwaved it, then [placed it on an inverted bowl, and Poof! a serving bowl made of cheese!

if you've read on you must lol! grill a chicken breast then ontop of it put 1 rasher of smoked bacon. Add a nice amount of bbq sauce then cover with cheese. Put it under the grill until the cheese has melted. Yummy!!!
