I have plain flour, its 5 years old.
An egg
Some milk.
No fat, but some olive oil.
Pinch of salt.

I just made a pancake and it tasted ok but was a bit like eating a damp jiffy pack. Should I but in some bicarb?

At my school there are these really good cookies that are chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips AND chocolate chips in them. There probably the best cookies I've ever eaten. I was wondering if anybody has a recipe with both white chocolate and chocolate chips in a chocolate cookie?

I have a recipe that calls for preserved lemons. Are they sold in jars? Is there a way to preserve them yourself?

I'm turning 13 in about 2 months and I need some ideas for decorating the cake. I love rock music, I live in Kansas so I'm a country girl, I'm interested in retro things, etc. if you wanted to know some things about me. I don't think the party is really going to have a theme so I'm trying to find cake ideas that will work for anything. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

i have tried making paella a few times but it always turnes out bland. i put enough saffron, to the point of almost being too much so i know its not that. I also only used chicken and frozen shrimp. kind of nervous eating clams and oysters. is that why it has no flavor? did i use too much rice? does anyone have a good recipe?

Am working on a cookbook that at this point has no title. The collection of recipes focus on sound nutrition for anyone concerned about heart disease, cancer or diabetes and want to eat right to stay healthy. The twist, however, is that this cookbook features recipes that have a French gourmet flavour while at the same time providing sound nutritional ideas to help prevent disease and to stress good eating.

I have asked a few people how they cook theirs. Some say lots of eggs and bread crumbs and others say forget the bread crumbs you don't need it, just the eggs will do. I never made an eggplant dish before but I love it when I go to a restaurant. Just wanted to try my hand at it.
Also, how hard is it to make Pickled Eggplant. I love it in salads but if its too hard to make I'll just keep buying it from the store.

I made some using homemade veggie stock, but it didnt have the depth of flavor I wanted. I cannot use bullion, due to allergies to wheat, soy, eggs and dairy.
