Anyone have an easy recipe for Japanese sea bass? It's on sale at the local supermarket and I wanted to try it but wasn't sure the best way to prepare it - I've never had it before - is it similar to chilean sea bass at all?

I'm going to be making my daughter's 4th b-day cake and would like to do one of those barbie in a dress cakes, where the dress is the cake like a ball gown, and she'll be on two 8" round cakes layered as a stage. I'd like to put fondant around it. I found a 2 lb blue fondant tub for under $12. But how much do you think I need for JUST the barbie dress part and how much for just ONE of the 8" rounds? JoAnn's has a 4 pack of 4.4 oz tubes of multi color pastel fondant for $7.99. It has a light blue. I could do each round a different color, and the bell of the dress the blue (making Cinderella). Would 4.4 oz be enough for each round and the cinderella dress? I won't be fondanting the bottoms or tops of the rounds, just the sides. And won't be fondanting the bottom of the bell of the dress. Also, do I put on thin frosting before the fondant or just the fondant?

My hubby and I go back and forth about this. I like pickles, so this is nothing against pickles themselves. His mom uses pickle juice in her potato salad, which is just wierd to me. My mom adds sweet pickles to her macaroni salad, which I have always picked out. What is the fascination with pickles in these salads?????

In the warmer months I live on fruits and veggies and crave lighter fare. Once this cold weather hits, I crave heavier foods. Often my cravings are not able to be satisfied without really fattening and/or sugary foods.

I'm looking for two things here...

1) Why do our cravings and appetites change so drastically in the winter?

2) What foods/recipes are ideal for satisfying my hunger and cravings and still keeping it healthy?

I don't eat red meat and I try not to eat high fat, sugar, or refined carbs.
