Not to me. That kind of sounds disgusting, no offense meant in any way. I don't know anyone who would eat it.

I'm not too sure about the brown gray with the squash. Rice and squash sound pretty good, or brown gray and rice all three rather odd combo to me How about a cheese sauce over rice and squash rather than gravy. or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

I don't know if the squash would work well with rice and brown gravy. I'd just stick with sauteing the squash with the seasond salt, pepper, butter, and maybe some onions. Don't let me stop you from experimenting though. I could be wrong.

I wouldn't use the brown gravy. Gravy is for meat dishes.
Lawry's season salt, butter and parmsean cheese and bread crumbs - try that on steamed squash.

Not really.
How about this...
Sautee the squash with onions. Add to a roasting pan with 1 cup chicken broth, 1/2 cup bread crumbs and 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in oven @ 350 degrees for twenty minutes.
It'll be much better than your recipe.
