White meat is usually very dry, but very healthy. When I cook chicken breast they taste great, but aren't as juicy as I would like for them to be. Would marinating them overnight help make them juicy. Or is there no hope?

I have a recipe which contains fresh bakers yeast and I only have freeze dried yeast off the supermarket shelf. How much in teaspoons is 25gms.
Does the yeast give the ginger beer plant the alcoholic content?

Every recipe that I've seen or that my partner has made has oil. I'm not opposed to this, but I can't figure it out? Why bother? It's not like the oil really has that much flavour... what would be the effect of following any given recipe but skipping the oil? (it bugs me on an aesthetic level when the oil seperates while sitting on the table in the bowl...)

thanks for any insights here!!! its a metaphysical problem that has me stumped! Jeff

Have anyone tried to make gourment " bully beef" ? It is a great way to "stretch" the dinner and a nice way to add veggies for the kids. Try it and let me know what you think.

Well here is the recipe.

Small Cabbage (shred)
1 tin corn beef
Large Onion
Escallion
Bell peppers - green, red, orange ( 1/2 each)
1/2 cup corn
Scotch bonnet pepper
Thyme
Broccoli (optional)
Ketchup 3 tablespoon
Olive oil ( or canola)

In pan, add oil (olive), heat at medium range
Next add onion saute for 1 minute
Add ketchup and stir for 30 sec
Add cabbage, broccoli, peppers, escallion, corn, scotch bonnet pepper, thyme and stir fry until cabbage seem tender
Add corn beef and sprinkle thyme leafs.
Cook at low heat for another few minutes.
Serve over white rice.

However, I DO have a heart shaped cake pan, Would I somehow be able to press a thin layer of the cookie batter into the cake ban and bake it into a large cookie? Do you think it will work?

Heinz makes pickles in a mustard sauce, chunky pickles. Other brands make them as well but can't seem to find any in USA.

Any help in finding these delicious pickles would be appreciate!

When I make homemade ravioli, the ravioli stick to each other or the pan I place them in after I assemble them and before I cook them. They always come out as a big lump. I've read that cornmeal on wax paper works, is this true? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Like the question says, I hate creamy white foods. Seriously, the only ones I'll eat are garlic Alfredo sauce, fat-free ranch dressing, and whipped cream. Maybe it's Freudian, I don't know. :)

But lots of recipes I want to make call for mayonnaise, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, cream cheese, or sour cream. What can I substitute for these items? Please no Miracle Whip, plain yogurt, etc, because I won't touch the stuff. Oh, and I don't eat eggs either, but milk is okay.

Thanks!

Derby Style steak is a marinade for a steak. I believe it contains worchester sauce, A1 sauce and other stuff to make this great marinade for any kind of steak. It's a spicy marinade and soooo good.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
