Just made peanut brittle and accidently put baking powder in by mistake. Requires 1 tsp of baking soda. I added the making soda after I realized the error. Do I need to toss it? Will this effect the taste?

I tried cooking them in a foil container at 350 degrees and after more than an hour they were still coldish! What's the best way to heat these things up? Again, they were just prepared and frozen, never cooked before.

There is a way to make a Duncan Hines cake mix that uses pudding mix in with the boxed cake mix ... if anyone knows how to do this or how it turns out I would greatly appreciate it. I want to make a chocolate cake in a 12x18x2 pan that is high and moist like one you would buy from the bakery for a birthday cake .... help please!!
