That all depends are you going to barbecue? You could always put sauce on them and put them on the barbecue or the oven. There isn't a rule of thumb to make them.
Why not do half with the sause on and then half with out the sause. You can always heat up the sauce and dip the non based drumettes in the sauce. Just don't double dip if you are among friends. That would be considered not polite.
It depends on how you want to eat them? Make sure the drumettes are thawed out first before you add on the sauce.
If you want to try making them yourself here's some recipes just in case?

Sauce on first, bake them for about 45mins. Or you could aways heat up the sauce and put the sauce on last. Oh and dont forget to season the wings with some kind of seasonings. Since it seems you cant really cook hon make sure you wash the chicken after taking it out the bag. You dont want food poisoning.

Chicken drumsticks should cook in 30 minutes. If there are no instructions on the sauce bottle I would put half the sauce over them then baste them in the rest of the sauce 10 minutes before they are cooked.

Bake them first... it really depends on the size of them I would think that in a 350 degree oven probably 45 min or so... I've also had them deep fried just like making fried chicken and then toss in your sauce...
Keep extra for dipping.... that is what i do for mine... What time can I expect those? lol

If you put them in a 350 degree oven in a single layer for about (depends on how many you have) 45 minutes. Drain the fat then add sauce and continue heating low oven (cover with foil) till you're ready to serve.

bake them plain for twenty minutes or so, then add the sauce and cook for twenty more minutes, re-baste, etc. keep re-saucing until they're done. probably will take close to an hour to cook.

yea, bake them first and then cover with the sause, you may want to pop it back in after that for a minute or so to cook the flavors in.
cook them realy close to the heat at 450 for ten minutes, then flip them for another 8 minutes to get them nice and crispy
