My five year old son is asthmatic and his snoring is scary. What solutions do I have?ThanksQ & A

I agree. Check out the tonsils and adnoids with the doctor. They could be a huge help. Also see if your child may be over weight. It's a common thing these days and that can cause snoring.

Yep, they're probably his adenoids. My 5 yr old just had hers removed when she had tubes put in her ears. The adenoids are supposed to help filter infections, but I've read that many doctors don't think there's a real need for them after age 2. The day my daughter had hers removed, she was sleeping so soundly with no pain. They said she very likely had sleep apnea with it. She sleeps much better now!

Umm...there really is no solution to the problem he may eventually outgrow it. Talk to your pediatrician about the concern.

My only question is why is this in Food & Drink?
