Heinz makes pickles in a mustard sauce, chunky pickles. Other brands make them as well but can't seem to find any in USA.

Any help in finding these delicious pickles would be appreciate!

These are sweet mustard pickles.

As for the rude person named dancer, if I could obtain these pickles in an US, particularly Michigan supermarket, I would not be asking here! Thank you!

Note to Kim, I can't contact you, it says so in your info, Sweet Mustard Pickles are absolutely delicious, at least the heinz ones, which you can't get in the US, only Canada as I was told by Heinz, can't find them anywhere it seems, so, I will have to try and make them or ask someone from home in Canada to send me some! Thanx for all the help!

Besides making them myself, I would have to say Julz has the best answer because they are the closest to the Sweet Mustard pickles I have been buying for years that would be comparable to what I've had in the past.

Separate the cauliflower into flowerets, peel the onions and slice the peppers real fine, slice the tomatoes and combine all four ingredients.

Cover with the salt and let stand over night. Drain, cover with boiling water and cook until vegetables are soft. Drain. Heat the vinegar and pour over the flour, sugar, mustard, celery seed and turmeric which have been mixed together. Mix thoroughly.

Add the pickles to the cooked vegetables and pour over the liquid, cook about 10 minutes or until mixture thickens.

Here is an online source for mustard pickles:

http://www.barryfarm.com/nutri_info/pickled_all/cucmustard.html

Or, try making your own:

MUSTARD PICKLES

Put into one quart fruit jar:

4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons ground mustard

Wash cucumbers and pack as many as possible into jar.
Cucumbers should not be more than four inches long.

Then fill up jar with cold vinegar. Screw jar air tight.

After six weeks they are ready for the table and are delicious. These will keep several years if kept in a cool place.

Hope this helps!
