I don't have much cooking experience and have never cooked a steak before. I have a 1.5 pound piece of "London Broil" which is about 1 1/4 inches thick.

I have read that you can cook steak in many ways, but I only have a gas-stove, an oven, and a toaster oven to work with.

Which method should I use? How long should I cook it for? At what heat level?

Any advice is appreciated - thanks a lot!
