sandwich bag only fit plain white bread and standard size breads. Some rolls too, bu not fresh large rolls. I can only guess that the word "Sandwich" bag means a size.

I would guess they're called sandwich bags because that's the size of the bag -- the size of a sandwich. Personally, I prefer wrapping my sandwich instead of putting it into a baggie.

A sandwich bag keeps your sandwiches fresher. Foil has a tendency to come unwrapped and there isn't a seal in it.

It does not have to be put in a bag, you can put your sandwich in which ever you choose.......Freedom of choice I think it is called......
