You need to add butter to the pan, then you add in the mashmellow and finally the rice krispie and whatever else you want in there.

Ingredients
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 package (10 oz. about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies®
Directions
1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cut into squares when cool.

NOTE: Use fresh marshmallows for best results.

VARIATIONS: Raisin: Add 1 cup raisins with cereal. Peanut: Add 1 cup peanuts with cereal. Peanut Butter: Stir 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture just before adding cereal. For thicker squares: Press warm mixture into buttered 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Microwave margarine and marshmallows on full power in large glass mixing bowl for 2 minutes. Stir to combine. Microwave on full power 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer. Stir until smooth. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Press into pan as directed in Step 3.

I'd melt the marshmallow cream, so it spreads and goes further, and add a bit of butter, like the regular recipe calls for.

You should be able to just mix the marshmallow together with the krispies and spread in a pan.

I'm pretty sure you also need melted butter mixed with the marshmallows
