It looks as though you are hypoglycemic. Which means your sugar is low. A normal test would have given you a reading of somewhere between 80 & 120. I don't know what you had to drink, but even at that an hour later when another test was done your blood sugar level was only 86. As you can see after 2 and 3 hours it really fell. Yes by all means you should call your doctor. Do you eat much? How much do you weigh? Are you a very active person? Do you ever get gittery? Are you wanting to get pregnant? You are all right .The doctor will probably tell you to eat more small meals often just to keep up your blood sugar level. I have worked with a lot of older diabetics because I am a geriatric nurse. You seem young. Is there a reason for having this test done? Your AcuCheck, blood sugar test, is OK in the 80's , but with most people their accu check tends to increase over time, where your's is falling. Thats why I am thinking you are not eating enough. And eat quality food. Not junk food. Ask questions. Lots and lots of questions. None are too dumb.

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes.

And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you.

With diabetics, you want to avoid sugars where possible and choose leaner meats and lower carbs. My hubby's diabetic and here's what we're having for dinner tonight:

Steamed asparagus
Roast beef (trimmed all the fat I could see)
Roasted carrots & parsnips
Baked potato with low fat sour cream (baked better than mashed if you don't add butter)

For dessert we're going to have low-fat Jello (Jello makes this with artificial sweetener instead of Jello).

If I needed to make a starter, I would have made French onion soup with light mozzarella on top and no french bread/croutons.
