My turkey came out dry, and it rested for an hour after I took it off the grill. I wonder if the resting was part of the reason it was dry.

On what basis pineapple juice is considered a good substitute for mirin, when making teriyaki sauce? Is it the flavour, is it some substance that is present in both? What is it? If anyone knows any other good substitute, except for sherry, please share.
Thank you people!

Once at work someone brought in a dip and I would love to duplicate this recipe. This co-worker no longer works at my job so I cant ask for the recipe. It had bacon or bacon bits in it and a lot of shredded cheddar cheese. I believe the base would have to be sour cream or maybe mayo or creamcheese, Im not sure. I tried several websites including allrecipes.com and cant seem to find this. HELP please
