Isn't the lime in the coconut a song on an advert?
Doesn't sound like it would make you feel better I'm sure the acid from the lime would work against the coconut milk and create a disgusting concoction.
But anyway the lime in the coconut is a sauce which you can now buy from the shops, im sure it would taste good though.
I always use lime on fish,
.......................i'm more a lemon women than a lime.

I like to squeeze lime on my fish to give it a tropical flavor. I also like to put in to fajita meat before being wrapped into the tortialla. Lime is also good on seafood.. Tequila Lime shrimp is yummy. Then of course there is key lime pie.. I cook alot and tend to play around with seasonings and spices. Most places that call for lemon can be replaced with lime, however limes are a bit more tart, so beware of the pucker factor. Lime ( citrus in general) is used for ceviche where the acid in the juice actaully "cooks" the fish without applying heat. Make sure if you do this that your fish is very FRESH>
good luck

I like near ice cold diet coke poured over lime slices in a frosted glass. In the summer, it is near heaven. Otherwise, I am simple. I do like limeade from frozen in the summer and I am not a key lime pie fan at all.

The easiest and most obvious is salsa! Fresh lime juice makes it fantastic....
FRESH SALSA
3 large tomatoes – diced
½ very large red onion – diced
2-3 green onions – sliced thin
½ medium fresh jalapeno
(seeded and diced very fine)
approx. ¼ cup chopped cilantro
(little over half a bunch)
juice from 1 lime
¾ t. chili powder
¼ t. cumin
¼ t. garlic powder
½ t. salt
¾ t. Splenda or sugar
Mix well and refrigerate for flavors to mingle.
Yield: Approx. 1.75 pints.
Other ways to increase it in your diet is to use it in place of other citrus juices in any recipe.

Margaritas, vodka&tonic, gin&tonic, vodka&cranberry, bloody marys, and a bunch of other drinks.
I do NOT put a lime in Corona, because the whole reason limes were first added to Mexican beers was to keep the flies away. Lime in beer is not necessary.

I use lemons and limes a lot for a kick in different recipes. If something tastes a little flat, add a squeeze. Tastes great in guacamole. Really adds a fresh taste.

MY FAMOUS KEY LIME PIE!!!!! SRY IT"S KIND OF LONG BUT OHHH SOOOO VERY GOOD!!!!!GREAT COLOR FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!
5 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons sugar, plus 1 1/4 cups, plus 1/4 cup
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup key lime juice
4 eggs, at room temperature
2 egg yolks, at room temperature
2 tablespoons grated key lime zest
1 pound cream cheese, at room temperature
2 egg whites, at room temperature
Pinch of salt
2 cups sweetened whipped cream
1 cup simple syrup, (1 cup sugar, 1 cup water heated until sugar dissolves)
Rind of 2 limes, julienned
12 sprigs fresh mint
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, 2 tablespoons of the sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Mix well. Press the crust firmly over the bottom of a 9-inch spring form pan. Set aside.
In a saucepan dissolve the gelatin the key lime juice, about 5 minutes. Add 1 1/4 cups of the sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and lime zest. Mix well. Over medium heat, cook until the mixture thickens and is pudding like, about 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from the heat.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese until smooth. With the mixer running, add the lime mixture slowly and beat until smooth. Remove the mixture and turn into a bowl and cool completely. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, stirring every 10 minutes.
In a bowl of an electric mixer with a whip attachment, place the egg whites and remaining 1/4 cup of the sugar. Whip on medium high until stiff peaks form. Remove the lime and cheese mixture from the refrigerator. Fold the egg whites into the lime mixture and blend thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
Remove from the refrigerator. Run a sharp knife along the sides of the pan and remove the spring-form. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the top of the cake.
For the candied zest: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the simple syrup and the lime zest. Bring the liquid to a simmer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the zest from the liquid and cool on parchment paper.
Cut the cake into individual servings. Garnish with candied lime zest and mint sprigs.
We have it every year on Christmas I make it with my dad but sadly my mom and dad got an divorce so now i don't make it that much any more so plz if you do pick this make it with someone. This recipe was passed on a long way and im giving it to you. Happy Holidays!!! Hope you like the pie.
