Once at work someone brought in a dip and I would love to duplicate this recipe. This co-worker no longer works at my job so I cant ask for the recipe. It had bacon or bacon bits in it and a lot of shredded cheddar cheese. I believe the base would have to be sour cream or maybe mayo or creamcheese, Im not sure. I tried several websites including allrecipes.com and cant seem to find this. HELP please

Bacon - Cheese Dip
Recipe By: Leigh Smail

Ingredients:
1 package 250g. cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
chopped green onions
round sourdough bread

Instructions:
Cook bacon. Crumble when cooled. Cut thick slice lengthwise from top of bread. Scoop out bread, leaving a shell. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions. Mix well. Fill loaf with dip. Bake at 375F. for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cut bread into chunks for dipping. Have extra bread chunks on hand. This dip will be a hit at your party!

Shrimp & Bacon Dip 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened 2 green onions, chopped 1 cup sour cream 1 (5-oz) package shredded Swiss cheese 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper 5 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 pound cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined Garnish: additional chopped green onion Assorted crackers Raw vegetables Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a 1.5-quart greased slow cooker. Cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Garnish with additional chopped green onion. Serve with assorted crackers or raw vegetables. --Taste of the South, Winter 2006 --------------------- Sugar Pie's Shrimp Dip 1 (10.75-oz) can condensed tomato soup 2 (3-oz) pke cream cheese, softened 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion 1 tablespoon finely chopped green bell pepper 1 small can shrimp, drained and mashed 2 cups mayonnaise 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 3 drops liquid crab boil seasoning (Zatarain’s) Corn chips to serve In a saucepan over medium heat on stovetop, heat tomato soup. Add softened cream cheese and stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend ingredients. Place in airtight container and refrigerate overnight. Serve with corn chips. Note: This tangy shrimp dip is better the second day after the flavors have had a chance to blend. --me!

I dont know if this is the recipe or not but its good anyway.
2 cups ranch dressing
1 cup, sourcream
1/2 cup shreadded sharp cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onions
i package real bacon recipe pieces ( Oscar Mayer's)

are u talking about french onion dip if u are
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup nonfat sour cream
1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
1 package dry onion soup mix (1 oz pkg)
1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

In a medium bowl, stir together nonfat sour cream, fat-free mayonnaise, green onion, dry onion soup mix, dry minced onion, salt and pepper. Chill until serving.

Only 3 ingredients provided is going to be pretty difficult to decipher your recipe. How about providing more info on what else you think was in it. Based on the limited info you provided, it sounds like baked potato toppings to me, which obviously is not what you're talking about. But just illustrating my point.
