I have to provide two cakes for my kid's carnival. The form does not say "provide" a cake it says "make" a cake, and goes on to give all of the instructions for turning it in. I did ask and it is ok to buy one, however, I would like to buy one and add something to it. Any ideas for turning a plain pound cake into a Halloween cake are much appreciated. Seriously, ANY and ALL ideas appreciated!!!!!!

My friend is allergic to wheat, MSG and anything with gluten in it and when she comes over, I don't know what to cook for her!!! First of all I need a recipe for Royal Icing. Secondly I can't find any black food coloring so I am going to have to make it, I have red, blue, green and yellow food coloring, I know that if you mix two complementary colors such as red and green together that it will make brown, can I make black by doing this same thing?
