i want to make a cookie cake but when i tried last time it was all gooey in the center like it enevr cooked but the edges were burnt?? How do u make a cookie cake w/ jsut cookie batter then laying out in a circle??

Try lowering the temperature ( try 325F) of your oven and placing the baking sheet on a lower rack in the oven also and bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Lower the temperature. The outside of the cake cooked too fast. Down the temperature by 50 degrees, and try to use a shallower pan. That should cook the inside as well as the outside evenly.

Buy a packaged cookie dough, roll it out on a flat round stone, bake it accourding to the directions on the package. Works for me every time.

thr cud a number of reasons for the problem...
U mite hv poured too much batter in the pan...some cakes need to be spread thin....
Or it mite hv been tht thr was a bit too much of baking soda..!!

Bt i think it shud b the 1st thin...so nxt time, jus bake the batter in two lots...so tht way it'll turn out fine..!! hope this is helpful..!!
