I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast with my husband a few years ago and we were served 'popped eggs'. The best I can describe it was eggs, mixed with cream of wheat and other ingredients, then baked and served with either salsa or syrup. It was SOOO good, the consistency wasn't like quiche--the look of it almost reminded me of cornbread. Does anyone have a recipe for this?

Can I make this great pie w/ a graham cracker crust instead of the usual flaky crust?

My son ONLY eats pie if it's in a graham cracker crust(cheesecake included!)...

Can this be done?...and done perfectly?...and W/OUT turning it into a cheesecake itself?

Unless a pumpkin cheesecake pie can be made as well...

Please help...thanks

I have the following ingredients: smoked bacon, mushrooms, garlic, creme fraiche, double cream, dijon mustard, parmesan cheese pasta. Have I got all I need - don't want to go to the shop if I can avoid it but have other store cupboard essentials at home.

Can you suggest a recipe using these ingredients please?

I work second shift and my husband works first shift and we have one child. The only time we can get together around the table for a nice family dinner is on sunday, but it seems like we always have the same thing(s) to eat everytime! Almost always our meal consists of a meat of some kind, mashed potatoes and a veggie (peas mostly)
Does anyone have any awesome ideas? It would be a life saver! Thank You!

I am a whiz in the kitchen. I can whip up just about anything!!! My cooking is the talk of my whole family. I have never made fudge until last night. My Mother wanted me to try and old family recipe. I thought it would turn out perfect. I checked it this morning and it never set up. It is the consistancy of really cold butter. I have to spoon it out of the pan.

What did I do wrong? When my mother gave me the recipe it said 1 12oz can carnation milk. It didn't say evaporated or sweetened condensed....so I looked through a few cook books and they all called for evaporated milk.I used that although deep down I was thinking I needed sweetened condensed milk.

Any advice would be appreciated. I really want to get this recipe down before Thanksgiving.

Thanks!! Chrissy
