Ingredients:
2lbs Ground Beef
Italian sausage (optional)
1 large White Onion
Garlic
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 Package of Lasagna Noodles
1 Jar of Spaghetti Sauce – I use whole canned tomatoes then I blend them, and then simmer them with seasonings
1 1/2 Cups of Parmesan Cheese
3 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese
1 Small Container of Ricotta Cheese

Pre heat oven to 425˚

1st, Brown Ground Beef, drain, then season meat to taste....I use 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp Cilantro, and 1 tbsp of fresh garlic.

If you are using Italian sausage, this is a good time to brown the sausage and add to the ground beef.

2nd, boil noodles for about 3 minutes. They should not be fully cooked. Drain out half of the water. This way the noodles won’t dry out while waiting for the rest to be ready.

3rd, finely shred parmesan cheese, and then mix with fork into ricotta cheese. Shred mozzarella separately.

4th, in a large skillet, with olive 1 tsp olive oil put in 1 tbsp of fresh garlic and 1 white onion. Sauté until onions are tender, either add in the spaghetti sauce or blend the canned tomatoes and then heat. Then add 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp Cilantro.

Now you will start layering....in a 9x12 pan, Use your hands it’s easier....1st lay noodles, then spread the ricotta cheese and parmesan mixture, then meat, then sauce, then mozzarella. Repeat. This until the pan is very full. The last layer should be mozzarella cheese, other wise it will burn on top. Then place in pre heated oven and cook for 15 – 20 minutes. Or until cheese is bubbling.

Add some garlic bread or a Caesar salad and enjoy!!

Man, there are soooo many things to cook! Try cooking Italian? Mexican? African? The list goes on and on. Start making something at least once a week that the two of you have never had before (allow your palettes to be daring!)

I'm thinking of making either some frozen ravioli (or some gnocci) with sour cream butter sauce, some bread, and a salad.

Super easy to make and majorly delicious. Although, not too healthy LOL

try this: baked Tilapia fillets with rice and sauteed carrots. Spice the Tilapia with Old Bay seasoning, available at most grocery stores. Good eating.

I think we are having breakfast for dinner tonight. Every so often we do this. I am making blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and orange juice. I even have real maple syrup.
