ok for those that dont know what pralines are they are a caramel(sugar) based fudge that consist of pecans u more likely to find them in new orleans or down south somewhere but any way i was making some they turned out really good but they didnt get quite firm the top were ok but the bottom were still a lil sugary cvan some one plese tell why tha is what can i do to make them "perfect"?

I'm about to cook some yams for dinner but the only way I know of is to mash it with brown sugar to make it "candied'. I don't feel for anything sweet... so I'm thinking to mash it with butter like mashed potatoes. Will that taste good?

Anyone have any suggestions on something simple to do with these yams? Thanks in advance.

I just barbequed chicken and pork country ribs on the barby. Chicken was done perfectly, and pork was done fine also. But..... One rib must have been on a cooler part of the gas grill( of course it looked well blacked on the outside) because i bit into it and bit again and strarted chewing and looked at the rib more closely and noticed it wass pink and a little bloody, I spat it out into the trash and rinsed my mouth out in the sink, thenn went in the bathroom and mouth washed. I did not swallow the meat but I think I may have swollowed the bloody juices abit. i'am being completely honest. will I be okay since I spit the peice's out? it's been about 20 minutes now. Honest replies please.
