Pre-haet oven to 200c/400f/Gas6

75g butter or margarine
175g plain flour
100g fairtrade caster sugar
75g plain fairtrade chocolate drops
50g chopped walnuts (optional)
675g fairtrade bananas
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
50g plain fairtrade chocolate

Rub butter/margarine into flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs stir in 75g sugar and plain fairtrade chocolate drops (& walnuts if used)

Peel and slice bananas and coat in lemon juice and rind.

Arrange half the bananas in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with remaining sugar and grated fairtrade chocolate. Put the remaining sliced bananas on top.

Spoon crumble mix over the bananas and press down gently. Bake for 30 - 40 mins until golden.

Gimmee the recipe & i will try it out tomorrow when my family comes to dinner, The youngest member is a year old & the oldest member of my family is 75 so it should be a pretty accurate diagnosis !

OMG, that sounds gooooooood! Two of my favorites! Next time put the recipe down for us all to try! I'd love to make that for my family...but mainly ME! :)

Haven't tried...yet, but I will. Thanks for the recipe.
Guess I better get my metric conversion chart out to know ingredient amounts. Not very familiar with the metric system.
