I'm not sure I understand the question. If you're looking for something like Kraft Macaroni and cheese using shell pasta, you can buy the cheese mix in grocery stores, cook the shells and use butter, milk and the cheese mix. If you want to bake macaroni using pasta shells though, just substitute them for macaroni noodles in any macaroni recipe.
This one sounds easy:

Girl I make it all the time. Boil the macaroni then when it is dont put the macaroni in the dish that u are going to use for the baked macaroni dish. Add the cheese that came with the boxes of macaroni PLUS some extra shredded cheeses. Try using other cheese besides just chedder try the mexican blends or etc. also take some fo the blocks of cheese and put some chunks in it to guarantee that the finely shredded cheeses wont get dry. If you are making a lot of macaroni then add one whole can of evaporated milk if just a little bit then enough to wet the macaroni. Add an egg. Stir it all together and then bake in the oven on 350 degrees until the cheese has set or the top has become kind of crispu and browned and not a minute more or it will dry.
Good luck.... its a really simple recipe try it out its my grannys recipe. Its been a big hit at any bbq that i have had.

It's easy to make it from scratch.
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon powdered mustard
3 cups milk
1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 large egg
12 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Fresh black pepper
Topping:
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup panko bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and mustard and keep it moving for about five minutes. Make sure it's free of lumps. Stir in the milk, onion, bay leaf, and paprika. Simmer for ten minutes and remove the bay leaf.
Temper in the egg. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Fold the macaroni into the mix and pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Melt the butter in a saute pan and toss the bread crumbs to coat. Top the macaroni with the bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for five minutes before serving.
This is a recipe from the Food Networks website. It's really good.
Just replace the elbow macaroni with the shells. You don't have to have an egg if you don't want to deal with it. If you can't find panko bread crumbs use crushed potato chips. You don't really need the paprika or the bay leaf. Don't use as much mustard (if you even want to use it at all).

Bootleg it
Boil your noodles
Add your cheese sauce (or your cheese powder)
Mix in some butter and some extra shredded cheese
Put in a greased baking dish
Sprinkle some more shredded cheese on top and bake until the cheese melts and browns lightly. You can sprinkle bread crumbs on top but that is your choice.

girl cook the macoroni like you always do, make sure its not runny, use less water, then pour it into the right size dish and spread with cheddar cheese on 450 - 500 oven, until golden brown, for better results buy extra cheese and fold it into the macaroni as you are stiring it before it goes into the pan, some good stuff, lemme know,
