Say if I bought a cake and added icing and candy peices on top but didn't serve it until FOUR days later, will it still be good or will it like be hard and the icing crack?
Can people still eat it?
What's the best way to make it look good (preserve) even though it was made 4 days earlier? (like fridge or counter top?)
What's the best kind of cake for that? (if there is one)

i know this question is weird.. but i have to know =/

I've made various lasagnas in the past but have never been quite satisfied. I'm looking for one that has a very authentic taste and one where the filling is not unsalted or doesn't taste like it is. The last ones I've made it's tasted a little bland. Meat will be used in it, probably about 1lb. of ground beef and I make my own Basil and Garlic sauce, so something that will be really robust but not overpowering. Thanks :-)

I have a good, solid Cuisinart processor with a new blade, but when I try to make fresh breacrumbs in it, I always end up with the same problem. I tear the bread into pretty even pieces of about an inch before I pulse them,, but they don't come out evenly-sized or even close. I always end up having to fish the biggest (about 1/2') chunks, and by that time, some of the other crumbs are way too fine. Does someone have a suggestion? Thanks.

I'm moving in with my fiance in a week and we are both vegitarian. I'm a decent cook, but we'll be living in UK and there's not many canned foods there, So I won't be able to buy a can of tomatoes to make pasta anymore (and pasta happens to be his favorite) so does anyone know how I can make them myself?
