The tuna in pouches really is better. I like green onions, dill pickle, celery and hard boiled egg. For dressing I mix mayo with spicy brown mustard and a little of the pickle juice. I like the lemon pepper idea. Also try different types and flavors of crackers.

I just use mayo, a squirt of yellow mustard, and sweet pickle relish if I'm feeling wild. I've heard of people putting halved grapes in their tuna salad, but I can't bring myself to do it.
Try the tuna in the little flat bags instead of cans. The flavor is MUCH better! Worth the extra $$.

Hey I'm with you on wanting a change of pace with tuna....Recently in the grocery stores they have more tuna in aluminum bags instead of cans and this tuna has such a better quality flavor....and it comes in different flavors..like "smoked" , "garlic and herb", "lemon"..etc....I sometimes mix the tuna with creamed cheese that I've added some sour cream to....and this is low or no fat type.....on a couple slices of whole wheat bread spread the cheese mixture on both sides of the bread and then in the center place romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, and green onions....It's healthy and makes your mouth happy.....

This is good, I just put the tuna in a bowl, add chopped celery, onion and finely diced califlower, put in a generous amount of Miracle Whip and stir it up. I love it on crackers or as a sandwich.

i like to make tuna mac n cheese: 1 box mac n cheese, cooked as directed, add 1 can drained tuna(or 2 depending on how much you like it), 1 can drained peas or fully cooked frozen peas, about a half cup of shredded cheese of your choice, and some seasonings(i use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a lot of emeril's essence blend). mix together really well, top with more cheese if you want, and enjoy! VERY yummy! :-)

I like my tuna with mayo, green peppers, onions, pickle relish, boiled eggs, and shredded cheddar. I eat it with salad crackers.

Endless possibilities, For a treat sometimes I'll make it with Mayo, Turmeric, Walnuts, Red and Green Grapes, Blue cheese and S&P. Let it refrigerate a while to let the flavors blend.

You can add all kinds of things. Grated cheddar cheese, Jalapenos or Chipotles., a squirt of lemon juice to brighten the flavor, celery, for lower fat, add some cottage cheese instead of mayo.

sometimes I leave out the onion and add finely diced apple.
It gives it a nice sweet crunch. I know it sounds awful, but it is yummy.
