Slice into two half moons. Open them up, make them into little envelopes.
Mix up a can of tuna, add some mayo or salad dressing, a teaspoon of curry powder. Stuff into the pitas. Top with alfalfa sprouts or chopped lettuce. Enjoy!

you can also fill them with the tortilla filling.... jThey only need some warming up so put them in the oven or under the grill after filled, for a few minutes..
Mediterrenean recipes:
1)fill them with grilled meat ,chicken, or meatballs, add tomato + cucumber + onion slices, chopped parsley, springle salt and chillie peper.
2) fill them with Falafel (chickpeas-balls) add chopped lettuce, tomato+cucumbers, parsley (best: coriander) and humus (from deli shop).
3) Feta cheese and grilled or raw vegetables mixture (tom, cuc, zucchini, bell peppers, aubergine)

Pita bread is delicious when used to make grilled cheese sandwiches, the outside gets crispy .You just make it the same as regular grilled cheese sandwich,by opening up the pita so you will have two slices.
